

Veterans Service Foundation Board Member Wyatt Batchelor
Wyatt Batchelor began his career in the military as an officer in the US Army Special Operations Ranger Regiment.
Following three combat deployments to Afghanistan, he worked as a finance analyst at Goldman Sachs before beginning a career with Restaurant Brands International.
At RBI, Wyatt worked in several roles, culminating in running a division for the company. Capitalizing on his experience, he later co-founded MBN Brands and began acquiring various retail concepts across the country.
Currently, he owns over 150 fast food restaurants between Burger King, KFC, and Jimmy John’s.
He has a B.S. in economics from West Point where he lettered in football and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
Alan Danzig was appointed to the Foundation in 2024.


Dr. Vivian Greentree served in the U.S. Navy.
She joined the Georgia Veterans Service Foundation in 2024.
Vivian Greentree, Ph.D. is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Corporate Citizenship at Fiserv and President of the Fiserv Cares Foundation. She is a nationally recognized leader in corporate social responsibility, having built award-winning programs that aligns a culture of high performance with employee engagement and social impact, advancing Fiserv’s market leadership while driving measurable value for employees, clients, and communities.
Under Vivian's leadership, Fiserv has received numerous recognitions and since 2021, Vivian has led Fiserv’s $50M investment into small business through grants, partnerships, and investments into community organizations and coalitions.
Vivian's expansive leadership experience spans the public, non-profit, and private sectors. A Navy veteran and military spouse, she is passionately dedicated to creating positive, inclusive environments for citizens and corporations to thrive, firmly believing that human capital management and corporate citizens are the key for driving both commerce and a flourishing, civically engaged society.


Veterans Service Foundation Board Member Joe Higgins
Joe Higgins served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Reserve.
From 2020 to present, he has served as the Chairman of the Veterans Council of Chatham County and Commander American Legion Post 184.
He is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, VFW 4392, 8th Air Force Historical Society (Birthplace Chapter), the 40&8 (honor society to the Legion), the Military Order of the Cootie (honor society to the VFW, Auxiliary Vietnam Veterans of America, Society of the 3rd Infantry Division, and the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade.


Brigadier General (Retired) Andrew (Andy) Hilmes served in the U.S. Army
Brigadier General Hilmes has served as the Executive Vice President for Economic Development and as the Recompete Pilot Program Coordinator for the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, Columbus, GA since April of 2024.
He has also served on the Executive Leadership Board of the Chattahoochee Hub for the Innovation and Production of Semiconductors (CHIPS4CHIPS or C4C) since February 2023. C4C is a 501c4 non-profit economic development consortium committed to attracting the semiconductor industry to the Columbus, GA region.
General Hilmes culminated nearly 28 years of military service in early 2023. His final duty position was Commanding General, U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center, Fort Rucker, AL. He was commissioned as an armor officer upon graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1995 and has led armor and cavalry units at multiples levels, spending nearly five years deployed on operational or combat missions, including three combat tours in Iraq, one in Afghanistan, and two tours of duty as a NATO peacekeeper in Bosnia-Herzegovina. He was awarded the silver star for gallantry in action during the ground invasion of Iraq in April 2003.
General Hilmes is very active within the Chattahoochee Valley community, serving as a board member for the Muscogee Educational Excellence Foundation and the National Armor & Cavalry Heritage Foundation, as well as Director of the Veterans Action Committee – Columbus.


Kevin P. Loncher served in the U.S. Army.
Kevin P. Loncher is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in leadership roles across various industries. Before founding Ranger Rags LLC, a veteran-owned company specializing in apparel design, screen printing, and embroidery, Loncher served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Wade Companies, where he led teams to achieve record growth and profitability.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Loncher's service background includes leadership roles in Armor and Ordinance. His military experience continues to influence his commitment to supporting the veteran community.
Loncher is deeply involved in initiatives that support veterans and their families. He is a key member of the leadership team at The Plummer Home for Homeless Veterans, where he works tirelessly to end veteran homelessness and restore the lives of those who have served.
Additionally, Loncher serves on the Military Academies Nomination Board for Georgia’s 2nd Congressional District, where he contributes to the selection of top candidates for our nation's military academies. As the Secretary of the Veterans Action Committee of Columbus, Loncher played an instrumental role in the successful establishment of a VA Clinic in Columbus, honoring the legacy of COL Robert S. Poydashesheff.
Loncher's commitment to service extends beyond his professional life, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of veterans and their families.


The Honorable Robert H. McMahon retired from the Air Force as a Major General in 2012, after more than 34 years of service.
Mr. McMahon is the former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment. He served as the principal staff assistant and advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of Defense on sustainment in the Department of Defense, and was the principal logistics official within the senior management.
From 2015 to 2017, Mr. McMahon served as President of Fickling Management Services in Macon, Georgia. He led a team of commercial real estate professionals whose portfolio spanned eight states. Previously, he served as the Director of Field Operations and Site Lead (Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia) of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program (GISP), and as the CEO of the 21st Century Partnership in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Mr. McMahon entered active duty in the United States Air Force after graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1978. Mr. McMahon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science degree in Maintenance Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
Currently, Mr. McMahon serves as an Operating Advisor to Liberty Hall Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on the aerospace and defense sector; serves as a senior advisor to Systecon North America, the nation’s premier modeling and simulation firm; serves as a consultant for the Institute for Defense Analysis; and sits on the Board of American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier, the leading U.S.-flag Ro-Ro carrier.


Matthew Osucha served in the U.S. Army.
Matthew Osucha, FACHE, is a healthcare executive, Army veteran, and community leader with more than 25 years of experience driving growth and innovation across the healthcare and medical technology sectors. He currently serves as Federal Sales Leader for Ceribell, where he works with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and other federal healthcare agencies to expand access to advanced neurological care for veterans and active-duty service members.
A former Army Ranger with ten years of military service, Osucha has dedicated much of his professional and volunteer efforts to supporting veterans, healthcare organizations, and community initiatives. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), serves on the City of Brookhaven Planning Commission, and volunteers with numerous nonprofit and service organizations throughout Georgia.
His active-duty service Infantry Officer and Army Ranger including serving with the 3/187th PIR in the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault, C-Co and HHC, 3d Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, 1-16th Infantry 1st Infantry Division, The Ranger Training Brigade, and finally serving in the Command Group of USSOUTHCOM in Doral, Florida. He concluded service in numerous units in the Georgia Army National Guard in a variety of positions.
Osucha lives in Brookhaven, Georgia, and is passionate about improving healthcare access, serving veterans and their families, and strengthening the communities in which they live.


Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) John Phillips retired from the U.S. Army after a successful 24 year career and is currently serving as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (North).
Phillips is the co-founder and Vice-President of VETLANTA. He is the former Finance Director at the Coca-Cola Company; former board member of the USO of Georgia, and 2020 Inductee of the Georgia Military Veteran Hall of Fame.
He is also the author of Boots to Loafers, a guide used by Georgia Tech in their military transition programs.


Charles H. "Chuck" Roberts was appointed to the Foundation in 2024.
Roberts is the Director of Business Development and Community Relations for The Fellowship Family, which currently consists of six assisted living communities. Five are located in Georgia and one is in Florida. He is a licensed Assisted Living Community Administrator in Georgia.
He previously served as the Physician Relations Director for Chancy Drugs; Physician Relations Coordinator for Colquitt Regional Medical Center; Director of Physician Recruitment and Relations for South Georgia Medical Center & Campuses; Assistant Administrator, Director of Physician Recruitment, Director of Business Development & Marketing for SMITH Northview Hospital; and a Senior Administrator for Pruitt Corporation over four nursing homes.
He attended West Georgia College and Valdosta State University, where he attained a B.S. Ed. in Special Education and a M. Ed. in Administration and Supervision.
Roberts is active in his local community. He is an Honorary Commander of Moody Air Force Base (Flying Tiger &AGOW), a member of the Red Carpet of South Georgia Founding Board (Moody AFB Support), a board member of the South Georgia Easter Seals, a board member of the Valdosta State University Alumni Association, Director of Southern Georgia VSU Alumni Relations Chapter, and a board member of the South Georgia Medical Group Managers Association of Valdosta.
He is married to Sheila Roberts and shares a blended family of three beautiful and talented daughters, two handsome and talented sons, and one adorable Mini Golden Doodle, Ginger.


Brigadier General Harold E. "Destry" Rogers serves in the United States Air Force.
Brig. Gen. H.E. “Destry” Rogers, Jr. is the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Air and Cyberspace Operations, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The directorate is responsible for ensuring PACAF provides ready air, space and cyber power to promote the United States’ interests in the Indo-Pacific region during peacetime, through crisis and in war. In this capacity, the Director oversees operations for three numbered air forces and 10 wings in support of more than 46,000 Airmen serving in Japan, Korea, Hawaii, Alaska and Guam.
Brig. Gen. Rogers received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He has served on both active duty and in the Air Force Reserve and has worked in numerous special operations billets. He has participated in operations Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Deny Flight, Provide Comfort, Desert Thunder, Deliberate Force, Joint Endeavor, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Noble Eagle.
Prior to his current assignment, Brig. Gen. Rogers served as the Mobilization Assistant to the Director, Operational Capability Requirements, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. The directorate supports major commands in developing and evaluating requirements for Air Force-wide modernization programs, including fighters, bombers, mobility aircraft, space systems, command and control, munitions, missile defense and cyber requirements. The directorate is also responsible for shaping and finalizing capabilities-based requirements documents for approval by the Joint Requirements Oversight Council.
In his civilian career, Brig. Gen. Rogers is a first officer for a major airline.
