Our Mission
We are dedicated to meeting the needs of Georgia’s veterans.
The Georgia Veterans Service Foundation, Inc. (GVSF) is a federal 501c(3) non-profit organization established in an effort to help our community partners better meet the needs of Georgia’s veteran population.
We strive to meet the multitude of needs of veterans living in Georgia through the identification of and prompt referral to trustworthy resources and the financial support of the organizations that are directly serving our veterans in every community across the state.
Our Services
We work with trusted community partners to provide assistance to Georgia’s veterans in need at a hyper-local level.
GVSF works to distribute funds raised through the Foundation to thoroughly vetted and trustworthy community partners that are already well-established in local communities across our state. Our partners are working on the front lines to serve veterans and their families. It is our goal to be able to share funding with a variety of organizations that provide dozens of services to veterans living in Georgia.
The GVSF is able to provide this supplemental help to its community partners through the generous gifts of individuals, families, organizations and businesses who share our passion and commitment to veteran service members.
Connect
Link veterans to resources and organizations sufficiently equipped to address their specific needs.
Fund
Provide supplemental funds to organizations working directly with veterans in every aspect and in every community throughout Georgia.
Collaborate
Partner to improve awareness and facilitate the expansion of employment and transition opportunities for veterans.
Promote
Spotlight Georgia’s state war veterans homes and veterans’ cemeteries.
Increase public awareness about veterans affairs and issues important to this community.
We are committed to ensuring that veterans in every community across Georgia receive prompt attention to their requests and appropriate, quality care for their needs.
